Shortstop Troy Tulowitzki had 2 base hits as the dominant Silver Sluggers
defeated the South Range Mariners by a score of 4 to 1 at SAFECO
Field.
 
Silver promptly took the lead in their half of the first with 2 runs.  Drew
Stubbs got things going when he drew a walk.  Yadier Molina was next and he
reached on an error.  Jose Bautista then would ground out.  Jeff Francoeur
was up next and he hit a deep fly.  That was all the offense they were to
need.  Neither team managed to score after the 3rd inning.  
 
The victory was credited to Wandy Rodriguez(13-5) who went 8 innings, allowing
1 run. Edward Mujica recorded the save, his 36th.  Jason Vargas(8-9) was
charged with the loss.
