Shortstop Maicer Izturis hit one over the fence and had 2 RBI at SAFECO Field
as the Greenville Black Sox beat the South Range Mariners 8 to 2.
 
South Range was unable to recover after Greenville went ahead in the top of
the 6th inning plating an isolated run.  Greenville ended up with 14 hits for
the game while South Range had 7.  
 
Jeff Karstens(8-12) picked up the victory, allowing 2 runs in 6 and 1/3
innings. Luke Gregerson recorded the save, his 2nd.  Aneury Rodriguez(4-5)
suffered the loss.  He allowed 4 runs and 8 hits in 7 innings.
