David Ortiz cracked 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI as the Hoboken Bums topped the
pathetic South Range Mariners by a score of 11 to 5 at SAFECO Field.
 
Ortiz enjoyed a big evening at the plate.  He belted a three-run homer in the
1st inning and smashed a bases-empty 'big-fly' in the 5th inning.  Overall
Hoboken out-hit South Range 15 to 8.  
 
Jeremy Guthrie(8-11) allowed 5 runs in 5 innings, and picked up the victory.
Brian Burres(4-5) ended up with the loss in relief.  He pitched 1 and 2/3
innings giving up 4 hits and no walks.
