The Waikiki Rabbits ended a long winless drought and edged the South Range
Mariners at SAFECO Field by the score of 5 to 4.
 
Scott Feldman(2-8) got the win with a steady relief outing.  He surrendered 5
hits and no walks in 3 innings.  This was the kind of game that many fans
love as the lead changed hands 5 times.  
 
David Robertson(0-5) was the loser in relief.  'We really needed this win'
said Matt Wright.  'That first drink of water at the end of a drought sure
does taste good!'

Mansfield Mounties beat the South Range Mariners 4 to 2.
 
South Range was unable to claim the lead after Mansfield went ahead in the top
of the 3rd inning plating one baserunner using 3 hits.  Mansfield had 10 hits
overall, while South Range had 5.  
 
The win went to Johnny Cueto(14-7) who allowed 2 runs in 7 innings. J.J. Putz
was credited with his 8th save.  Rodrigo Lopez(7-12) took the loss.

Jered Weaver retired 12 batters on strikeouts and Torii Hunter had 3 base hits
and 2 RBI as the incredible Mansfield Mounties defeated the lifeless South
Range Mariners by the score of 9 to 4 at SAFECO Field.
 
Weaver(20-8) had a solid outing for Mansfield.  He allowed 3 hits and no walks
in 7 innings and gave up 2 homeruns.  Mansfield out-hit South Range for the
game, 16 hits to 5.  
 
Joe Blanton(7-11) was hit with the loss.  He was unable to control the
Mansfield offense and allowed 12 hits and 4 walks in 7 innings.  
 
'I had my good stuff tonight.' Weaver said. 'As the game went along I started
to get the feeling that I was going to strike out a bunch of hitters.'

Third baseman Wilson Betemit homered at SAFECO Field where the Alaska Hot
Stoves beat the woeful South Range Mariners by the score of 3 to 2.
 
Alaska won the game with a run in the top of the 9th inning.  Jonathan Lucroy
delivered a one-base hit.  Logan Morrison stepped into the batter's box and
he slapped a single.  Prince Fielder then grounded into a double play.
Curtis Granderson came up and he stroked a base-hit.  For the game Alaska
out-hit South Range 11 to 6.  
 
Rafael Betancourt(2-1) was the winner allowing no runs in 2 innings. Clayton
Richard(6-17) was the loser.  He pitched 8 innings allowing 10 hits and 7
walks.

Clay Buchholz(12-5)with effective use of the bullpen blanked South Range in an
evening game.  The Alaska Hot Stoves scored scored 6 runs in a winning effort
at SAFECO Field.
 
Buchholz delivered a fine performance for Alaska.  He was reached for 3 hits
and 2 walks in 6 and 1/3 innings.  Alaska had 10 hits for the game and South
Range had 6.  
 
Daniel Hudson(3-3) was the losing pitcher.  He pitched 7 and 1/3 innings and
surrendered 8 hits and 3 walks.

Adam Jones left the yard and had 2 RBI as the South Range Mariners defeated
the Alaska Hot Stoves in 15 innings by a score of 6 to 5 at SAFECO
Field.
 
The game was deadlocked at 3 after nine full innings.  Finally, South Range
pulled the game out in the 15th inning.  After an out was recorded, Michael
Bourn drew a walk.  Bourn was running on the next pitch and he stole second.
One out later, Osvaldo Martinez stepped in and he was walked intentionally.
Eduardo Nunez followed and he drew a walk to load the bases.  Jones stepped
into the box and slapped a base-hit making South Range the winners and
sending the 40,616 fans home happy.  This was a game of many highs and lows
for the home town fans, as the lead kept changing - 5 times in all.  
 
The win went to Miguel Batista(5-4) who allowed 1 run in 3 innings. Tyler
Clippard(3-4) was hit with the loss in relief.  He pitched 2/3 of an inning
allowing 1 hit and 3 walks.
