At SAFECO Field the Colesburg Blazing Aces outscored the South Range Mariners
7 to 4.
 
Colesburg came up with the deciding runs in the 8th inning plating 3 runs on 3
base hits.  Charlie Blackmon kicked off the action when he drew a walk.  Luis
Jimenez came next and he doubled.  Troy Tulowitzki then smacked a single.
After an out was recorded, Edwin Encarnacion came to bat and ripped a
one-base hit.  Skip Schumaker stepped into the box and grounded into a double
play.  South Range proved to be no trouble in the bottom of the 9th.  
 
Paul Clemens(1-0) went 3 innings allowing 1 run for the win. Craig
Stammen(0-1) was given the loss in relief.  He gave up 3 runs in 2 innings of
work.
