Carlos Lee hit 2 doubles and had 3 RBI and C.J. Wilson whiffed 10 batters as
the dominant New York Metz defeated the South Range Mariners by the score of
8 to 5 at SAFECO Field.
 
Wilson(11-5) pitched well for New York in their victory.  He surrendered 10
hits and 5 walks in 8 and 2/3 innings.  New York rapped out 12 hits for the
night.  
 
Glen Perkins gained credit for his 6th save.  Wade Leblanc(3-3) was hit with
the loss.  He saw his ERA jump from 1.83 to 3.07 as gave up 8 runs in 4 and
2/3 innings.  
 
Wilson was humble when questioned about his performance, 'Well, I felt pretty
confident in my pitches tonight.  But, I had great support behind me and I
just threw what was called.  That was an extremely well called game!'
