The Alaska Hot Stoves came roaring back in the top of the ninth to spoil the
anticipated celebration of the hometown fans.  The final score,, was 5 to
3.
 
Alaska came up with the deciding runs in the 9th inning when they came up with
4 runs on 4 hits.  The big moment was provided by Logan Morrison who deflated
the mood of the partisan fans when he doubled bringing in two baserunners.
Alaska finished with 12 hits while South Range ended up with 8.  
 
Heath Bell(1-3) was the winner allowing 1 run in 2 innings. Tyler Clippard got
the save, his 1st.  The losing pitcher was Joel Hanrahan(1-3) in relief.  He
gave up 3 runs and 3 hits in 1 inning.  
 
'The only way this one could have been better', said Bell, 'was if we had
played it at home.'
