In a good matchup it was the Mansfield Mounties 5, the South Range Mariners 2
at SAFECO Field.
 
Mansfield scored 3 runs in the 6th inning.  After two were out Dan Uggla got
things going when he laced a base-hit.  Chipper Jones stepped into the
batter's box and he drew a walk.  Mike Napoli then lost the ball over the
fence for three runs.  Mansfield totaled 8 hits on the afternoon.  
 
The winning pitcher was Johnny Cueto(1-0) who allowed 2 runs in 7 and 1/3
innings. John Axford was credited with his 1st save.  Bud Norris(2-3)
absorbed the loss.
