The South Range Mariners bested the Waikiki Rabbits by a 5 to 2 score at
SAFECO Field.
 
South Range came up with 3 runs in the bottom of the 7th inning when they came
up with 3 base hits.  The highlight belonged to Jeff Mathis who brought a
roar from the partisan SAFECO Field fans when he delivered a base-hit scoring
two baserunners.  South Range had 10 hits for the afternoon while Waikiki had
4.  
 
David Robertson(1-5) got the win allowing no runs in 1 inning. Robertson got
relief help from Miguel Batista who gained credit for his 21st save.  Tom
Gorzelanny(5-6) was the losing pitcher.  He allowed 9 hits and 3 walks in 6
innings.
